Statement
To live a creative
life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.

I have
always loved to create and experiment with various media. It was my
discovery of polymer clay in 1998 that led me into a world of art and
creativity that was far beyond my imagination. The many forms that
polymer clay can take make it one of the most versatile mediums available.
My work is inspired by nature, Asian and Celtic art in combination with
mythical-spiritual characteristics. Imitative techniques are a
favorite process that I am drawn to again and again.
I believe that we are all inherently creative. For some it is art,
for some it is music, for others it is the gift of the written or spoken
word. In each of us lies a talent waiting to be released.
Moonroom Crafts
is a one person business owned and operated by
Amy A. Crawley. The
name "moonroom" comes from my first studio. The studio had
two sky lights through which the moon would shine. When deciding
upon a name for my business, it seemed only natural to include the name of
the heavenly body that illuminated my workspace.
